Fantastische ervaring: I had the best experience with this driving school! My instructor, Melih, was incredible, super professional, patient, and knowledgeable. On top of that, he’s genuinely funny and knows how to make you feel comfortable, even in stressful moments. His teaching style is so clear and encouraging that I passed my driving exam on the first try! Fantastische ervaring: After nearly a year of learning with Ryles, I’m thrilled to share that I successfully passed my manual driving exam in Amsterdam after the 3rd try! This achievement would not have been possible without the support and guidance from my coach, Ibrahim Saritas, and the entire Ryles team. I am truly grateful for the dedicated coaching and for all the assistance with scheduling my exams. The first try i was with another driving school, which was a very bad experience with a not good coach, so I turned to Ryles and Ibrahim. Ibrahim is a very decent professional coach with lots of patience and coaching skills. Ryles school uses App to book the lessons, which makes the administration so easy. Only their exam fee is much higher than other schools, but for the rest I am really happy with the school. Negatieve ervaring: Ik heb recentelijk mijn autorijbewijs helaas bij Ryles gehaald. Instructeur was ongeduldig, zat vaak op z’n telefoon, en schreeuwde tegen mij toen ik iets fouts deed. Uiteraard moet je tegen kritiek kunnen maar schreeuwen gaat alle perken buiten. Ik zou zeggen kijk verder naar een andere rijschool.
Dank je wel voor je eerlijke feedback. Het spijt ons te horen dat je ervaring bij Ryles niet naar wens was. We hechten veel waarde aan geduld en respect in onze rijlessen, en het is jammer dat dit niet jouw ervaring was. Het was absoluut niet de bedoeling dat je je ongemakkelijk voelde of dat het als schreeuwen overkwam. Soms wordt er een hogere toon gebruikt om nadruk te leggen op bepaalde punten, maar dit had je nooit zo ervaren mogen worden. We nemen je feedback serieus en zullen dit intern bespreken. Gelukkig heb je je rijbewijs gehaald, wat een geweldige prestatie is! We begrijpen echter dat de ervaring niet ideaal was. Als we eerder op de hoogte waren geweest van je zorgen, hadden we zeker geprobeerd een passende oplossing of vervanger te regelen om je ervaring te verbeteren. We willen je niet ontevreden laten vertrekken, dus mocht je nog feedback willen delen of verder willen praten, dan staan we altijd open voor een gesprek. We wensen je veel veilige kilometers op de weg en bedankt voor je tijd en het delen van je ervaring!

Positieve ervaring: Ik kreeg eerst les van Erencan E., maar dat bleek helaas geen succes. Hij gaf amper nuttige feedback, en leek vaak geïrriteerd als iets niet goed ging. Gelukkig kreeg ik daarna les van Ibrahim S., en wat een verschil! Hij is geduldig en bij elke les gaf hij feedback waarmee ik vooruit kon. Hij blijft kalm, zelfs als iets niet meteen goed gaat. Dankzij hem heb ik veel meer vertrouwen in mijn rijvaardigheid gekregen en mijn praktijkexamen gehaald!
Bedankt voor je open feedback, Clairee! Het is natuurlijk jammer dat de lessen met Erencan niet helemaal werkten voor jou, maar gelukkig kon je bij ons de overstap maken naar een andere instructeur. Het voordeel van een rijschool met meerdere instructeurs is precies dat: er is altijd iemand die goed bij je past. Fantastisch dat Ibrahim je het vertrouwen heeft gegeven om je examen te halen – van harte gefeliciteerd! Veel veilige kilometers gewenst, en bedankt voor het delen van je ervaring!
Negatieve ervaring: Never think of registering with the instructor “Inan” if you don’t want to lose your time and money, and if you want to pass the exam, avoid taking lessons with Inan. You will learn nothing with him, and he will register you for an exam to fail and take more lessons with him. I am not sure about other instructors with Ryles; maybe they do have better options, but as long as they have someone like him, it means they don’t have quality. Don't let one bad choice derail your plans; seek out a teacher who genuinely cares about your progress and is invested in your learning.

Fantastische ervaring: If you want to pass your driving exam right away and look for a no-nonsense driving school, then don't search anymore. Fantastische ervaring: I passed my exam after driving with Ryles - I had a great experience with them. Ibrahim was an amazing instructor - he gave me the extra confidence boost that I needed to pass. I also enjoyed the back end support - very responsive on what's app to change hours - get an exam date etc. Overall I would recommend this school to anyone - they also have quite some instructors that speak English which was a big plus for me given my limited Dutch.

Positieve ervaring: I decided not to continue after the trial lesson because: 1. Trial lesson was advertised as free on the website in multiple places without any asterisks, but Ryles requested payment anyways. Only later I found that this trial lesson is not free, they just offer you a discount for 30+ lessons package, which is hardly a definition of "free" 2. Even though the lesson itself was good, it ended 20 minutes earlier which is a third of what was advertised 3. During the lesson instructor told me that she is going to a 3 weeks vacation very soon which makes it questionable to assign me to her. Instructor personality and teaching style is the number one factor and the main thing I want to check on a trial lesson. 4. All of that would be minor things, but when I was called by Ryles again, they failed to take responsibility for these issues and to redeem themselves. So it's just too many red flags for me to commit

Firstly, regarding the cost of the trial lesson, I want to clarify that this is something we are very transparent about. Although the trial lesson is indeed advertised as free in certain contexts, this applies specifically when a package of 30+ lessons is booked, in which case the trial lesson fee is refunded, or alternatively, a free online theory course valued at €75 is offered. We mention this clearly on our website and in several places throughout the booking process. Additionally, when students register, they receive an email confirming the €45 cost of the trial lesson, and before the lesson takes place, we follow up with a phone call to finalize the details and once again clarify the cost. This ensures there is full transparency before the lesson is even scheduled. Regarding the lesson ending a bit earlier than expected, this is actually due to the structure of our trial lessons. The final 15 to 20 minutes are typically reserved for a feedback session where we explain our processes, policies like cancellations, and offer tailored advice on the number of lessons we recommend based on the student’s level. We do this to provide as much clarity as possible so there are no surprises later on. In terms of the instructor being unavailable due to a vacation, I completely understand how this may have caused concern. We do our best to accommodate each student’s needs, and if you had let us know that you were unsure about working with an instructor who would be on leave soon, we would have been happy to offer a trial lesson with a different instructor at no additional cost. We are always understanding in these situations and aim to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident with the instructor you are paired with. Lastly, I’m sorry if there was any miscommunication during our follow-up call. I’m not certain who you spoke with, but we’re always willing to take responsibility and make things right. If you still have any lingering concerns or would like to discuss the matter further, we would be more than happy to assist you. Very patient instructor, knew exactly what to focus on and was able to prepare me for the exam to pass it on the first try. Fantastische ervaring: Passed with one try. I'm grateful to the Ryles Team and Melih my instructor. The time, the flexibility and effort Melih put in for me to succeed. His patience, clear instructions, and supportive teaching style made all the difference. He was very attentive to where I lack focus and continuously pushing me to do better after every lesson and also happy to make time for me if I need more help. I wouldn't have done this without him. Fantastische ervaring: Passed from first try thanks Gulsum The whole onboarding process is super simple. After the initial intake ride with Gulsum I received feedback and a plan on how we can go forward to pass the exam. Booking the classes was flexible and Gulsum was trying to accommodate her schedule. Gulsum is a great instructor, providing constructive feedback followed by guidance on how to improve. Patient, full with energy, fun, and positive. The word failure is not an option. On the exam day all I had in my head were her words: Look forward, take it easy, don’t rush. Passed. It feels real good having a driving license - it’s all worth it. Fantastische ervaring: I had Melih as my instructor. Very well spoken, with both fluency in English and Dutch. Each lesson with him, I got good feedback on my general driving and detailed situations, which really helped me improve quickly. Very well qualified instructors who keep there lessons efficient, effective and organised. For me, the best part was the ability to flexibly book my lessons in advance through their app, which really helped me plan according to my exam date. My instructor Erencan did a fantastic job. I wasn't the best driver at the beginning, made a lot of mistakes, but with Erencan's teaching I was able to build the confidence and skills to pass my exam. Positieve ervaring: I chose Ryles because they could get me an exam very quickly, within weeks. I liked being able to organize my own schedule in the app. I learned a lot from my teacher and passed my exam on the first try, but was missing a bit of mutual respect during my lessons. My instructor was scrolling through his phone most of the time (still somehow managed to be alert and brake the car when needed though), a couple times he got himself coffee cutting into my lesson time, and he could be kind of rude and snappy when I asked questions. But I got my license fast, so I'm happy.

Fantastische ervaring: Een hele fijne en professionele rijschool. De lengte van en het aantal lessen per week wordt langzaam opgebouwd tot aan het examen. Mijn instructeur Ahmet was heel vriendelijk en geduldig en nam na elke les nog even de tijd om feedback te geven. Negatieve ervaring: Summary: I do not recommend this driving school. It was a regret. I already have a driving license. I just wanted to practice more until I get my own car. They suggested me to buy 10 lessons package and told me if I don't finish them, they will refund me unconditionally. They also told me I will have 1.5 hours for each lesson. Also, they agreed my boyfriend can sit on the back and watch my lessons so that he could also learn some rules etc. I bought the package and on invoice it was 10 lessons x 60 mins. I thought it was a small mistake and I did not care because I was planning to use all my lessons. They did not tell me that I was going to have 10 hours. They said 1.5 hours per lesson and 10 lessons in total. I could only do 5 lessons because I was only available on Saturdays. My teacher always informed me very late. She even changed the lesson hour at the same day. I tried to keep up with her all the time. She was generally a nice person. But she always finished the lessons early around 15 minutes. Also she told me she had an accident with another student and she cannot let my boyfriend to sit on the back. OK, it was understandable. Nevertheless, I really dislike her attitude about her car. She was always like "don't push brake too often, it is really expensive to replace". I was really stressed out when I was driving. If you don't want your brakes to wear out quickly, don't be a driving school teacher!! Then, I decided to buy my own car and I knew that I was going to get refund for my remaining 5 lessons. When I sent an email about this, 2 weeks passed and they still did not refund my money. I sent a reminder mail. Then they only sent 2.5 hours of lesson worth of money. Also they deducted 25 euros of administration cost (which I was not told). They told me that I should have check from their website about this cost. I told them they wrongly advertised about 10 lessons and 1.5 hours per each lesson. And I should have refunded more. Also, I even had the proof of my teacher finishing lessons early (public transportation records of my travels). They arrogantly said that "you are the only one who is not understanding". I really should not have believed their words and just stick with the invoice itself. They wrongly advertised before I bought the package and blamed me for not understanding it correctly. And I was not happy about my driving experience with the teacher too.

The invoice you received and paid for explicitly stated a package of 10 hours, not 10 lessons of 1.5 hours each, which is in line with our standard practice. Refund Policy: Our refund policy, detailed under the "Hours Over? No Problem!" section, explains that unused hours after completing your driving test are refunded at the same rate as your package, without deductions. If a student discontinues their lessons early, the remaining hours are settled at the hourly rate plus a €25 administration fee. These details are explicitly mentioned on both our Help, Manual car, Trial lesson and Algemene Voorwaarden pages. In your case, we chose not to settle the hours at an hourly rate, which would have been within our policy rights, but instead, we opted to join you halfway by refunding at the package rate. This includes the detailed invoice you received before payment, which outlined the package of 10 hours, not 10 lessons of 1.5 hours each. Furthermore, in our RYLES App, which you had access to, you could monitor the countdown of your remaining hours after each 1.5-hour lesson (RYLES App Features). It's disappointing to note your initial accusations regarding invoice alterations and illegal activities, which you now seem to have retracted, perhaps realizing the accuracy of our records. Fantastische ervaring: Ik heb rijlessen gehad met instructeur Gulsum Yilmaz en een keer examen meteen geslaagd. Gulsum geeft de lessen in details. Hoe je moet rijden, waar moet je opletten, welke snelheid, efficiënt met het rijden etc. Ze is best een lieve rijinstructeur. Twijfel niet om met haar rijlessen te nemen. Ik raad dus deze rijschool aan.

Fantastische ervaring: Fantastic driving school, I came to them with some driving experience but a 3 week need to pass deadline. Samet understood my situation and took me on, he was unfortunately too busy in that period but got me in touch with Eren. Eren is a fantastic teacher, a great guy but also strict when he needs to be. This I respect. Samet in the background booked my exam before my strict deadline, so I owe a thanks to him too. With there help I passed my driving exam first time and am completely over the moon. I will recommend this school to anybody, experienced or inexperienced - they look out for you.

Fantastische ervaring: I would like to thank Ms Tulay from the bottom of my heart, as because of her I managed to pass my driving license first try (with Ryles). Before I changed to Ryles, I have been with other driving school, and now that I can compare my previous school and instructor was a disaster, which the reason I failed my first practice exam. When taking my first exam I was not feeling confident at all, I was just hoping for luck, of easy and calm roads, and that I can somehow pass. So after the fail, I decided to try again with different school, and now I could not be happier for that decision. At my first few lessons with Ms Tulay, I was a really stubborn student, as I thought I knew how to drive and all comments about my mistakes are just unneccessary. But I actually was just driving bad and chaotic. I think during our 3rd lesson, Ms Tulay told me if I am not going to trust and listen to her, we are going to fail the exam and it is my choice if I want to change. At the beginning, I have to admit I was quite angry inside, but until the next lesson I cooled off, and decided to trust. And that was the moment that I started to make huge progress. Not only, the progress as the CBR expect us, but I just became to feel confident in the car and its handling. I have not even realized how many bad habits did I have, but we fixed them and I changed them to good habits. A lot of things my previous instructor did not notice, but Ms Tulay did. Also, I would like to point out an amazing preparation practice in Ryles, that at some point when students are almost ready, instructors decide to swap for a lesson and do a mock exam. Thanks to that, you should get the feeling how is it drive with a complete stranger, and how does it feel to take an exam. So, long story short, thanks to Ms Tulay not only I learned how to really drive, how to feel comfortable behind the wheel, and I passed the practice exam with a first try without any feeling of stress, as we already new that I am ready. Thank you very much again! And I wish everyone else to choose Ryles and trust your instructor as these are dedicated people who know their craft.

Fantastische ervaring: Ik begon ongeveer anderhalve maand geleden bij Ryles, bij instructeur Melih. Dit na een slechte begin ervaring bij een andere rijschool, waar de communicatie en beschikbaarheid erg gebrekkig was. Tijdens mijn proefles merkte ik gelijk dat ik goed opgang kwam en kreeg ik direct constructieve feedback van Melih. Dit gaf mij een goed gevoel over Ryles waarna ik gelijk een aantal lessen heb aangeschaft en ingepland doormiddel van de handige PlanGo app waar ze gebruik van maken. Na een aantal lessen gehad te hebben ging het erg goed en merkte ik dat ik mij steeds vertrouwder in de auto voelde. Wij hebben toen ook hard gewerkt naar de tussentijdse toets toe, deze tussentijdse toets is gelijk erg goed gelukt, ik heb toen ook gelijk mijn vrijstelling gehaald voor de bijzondere verrichtingen en positieve feedback gekregen. Hierna zijn we hard aan het werk gegaan om mij zo snel mogelijk klaar te stomen voor het praktijk examen. Dit verliep erg goed en makkelijk ook door het gemak van het zelf inplannen en de flexibiliteit van Melih. Als resultaat heb ik mijn tussentijdse toets met positieve feedback afgerond en een behaald vrijstelling voor mijn bijzondere verrichtingen. Uiteindelijk heb ik ook mijn praktijk examen in een keer gehaald. Dus een super goed resultaat, door de goede ondersteuning en leermethode van Ryles en Melih. Ik kan Ryles van harte aanraden als je opzoek bent naar een rijschool die jou helpt met het snel en goed behalen van je rijbewijs.

Fantastische ervaring: Yesterday I passed my practical exam and I honestly believe that it was only possible because I chose the right school - Ryles. Otherwise, I would be one of the sad cases of people who endlessly try to pass the exam, believing that there is something seriously wrong with them because not-so-professional instructors and schools put the blame on them without actually teaching the basics of controlling the car. To start with my story - for many years I couldn't believe I would ever be able to drive a car. The reason was the secondary traumatization I developed while working with traffic accident victims. My fear of highways was enormous! However, I decided to give it a try and to get my license. I was at a point in my life when I wanted to define myself anew, and learning to drive (also on the highway) seemed to be enough of a challenge for me. The first attempt to find a right school in the Netherlands was unsuccessful. I won't mention the name of the school, but as a student I haven’t felt taken seriously at all. I haven’t felt safe either. The instructor seemed to have no specific curriculum, and he downplayed my questions about what we were actually doing in the lessons. After several hours, I started looking for another school, specifically with instructors experienced in working with people with the fear of driving and the fear of failing the exam. I found Ryles and was quickly assigned the instructor - Murat. And that was the beginning of the enlightening journey I have never met anyone so professional, focused and interested in the learning process of their students - and thanks to my profession I have experience with many teaching institutions in my life. We spent many hours in the car and used every minute effectively. No driving around or killing time, just intensive training. Not only was his commitment astonishing, but also his consistency in implementing clear training program. I need to understand the logic of the rules and that's exactly what I got - clear explanation of every step I was taught, whether in controlling a car or participating in traffic. Needless to say, I felt very safe and everything started to fall into right places. Also regarding my "special needs", I have received the best possible training in driving on the highway and keeping it safe. It took me longer than regular students, but it got me to the point where I'm not afraid of the highway at all. Exposure is the most powerful technique for overcoming fear, but in specific case of highway fear, it must be done under the supervision of an experienced and patient instructor. I truly believe I wouldn't have been able to learn it if it wasn't for his personality and professionalism. The school also has a very good approach to exam preparation, which is especially important for people with fear of failing. At a certain stage of their learning, students are regularly subjected to driving tests by other instructors from this school. This gives the opportunity to hear objective feedback, but also allows students to get used to the presence of a stranger in the car and the exam situation. Due to these tests, I had the opportunity to see other instructors besides Murat at work, and in my opinion they are all professional and take their work seriously (and all the instructors are good looking too ). I am very happy that I’ve chosen this school and have found a great instructor. Not only have I learnt to drive, but I’ve also learned to control stress better and have become more self-confident. During the last lessons, my instructor devoted a lot of attention to teach me how to manage stress and overcome the fear of failing in the practical exam. And it paid off, because I passed. Oh, and last but not least. The school has also very efficient system of booking the exams. So the waiting time is very short. Once you are on the exam level, there will be date for you ready. One more reason to choose wisely.

Fantastische ervaring: I came to Ryles because I had very little time to work from zero to learn to drive and get the driving license, from the first glance at their website through contact and trial lesson I was always confident they could help me achieving it. They also seemed to be one of the most expat friendly schools from my initial research. They were always honest with me about what were my limitations and helped me work on them.
